Good price and much better service than South Austin Metals

This was my first experience purchasing material and it was a great one! They were the first business to respond on a quote out of the 4 I contacted, and the man who helped me when I got there was so nice & helpful. More than likely I'll be using them again in the future 🙂

First time buying steel, will be last time. It's been a month and some weeks, our guys ordered some square tubing and I beams off the local company because they were referred by some of our subs, they give specific measurements to the receptionist, beams get here, instead of it being 10 tall, 4 inches wide, they send us a 4 inch tall, 10 inch wide beam. Argue that it isn't their fault and we gave them the wrong measurements. which we didnt. They did not take responsibility for their error, on top of that, they are charging a 30 percent re-stock fee, that will take up to 2 weeks to reimburse. Got a call from them almost 3 weeks ago saying the mill had picked up the steel and I should receive my money Back any day now. 3 weeks have gone by after the phone call, 5 weeks have gone by since the material was returned, and I had to call and apparently should expect to receive money today or Monday. Absolutely will never do Business with them, nor will let any our subs get steel from them again. Response to the owner: Not a dollar has been refunded to us. Transaction posted on 9/7/21. Steel was returned the next day when the steel arrived, when the salesmen walked us to the beam, his heart dropped just like ours. It is now 10/15/21. Still have not received return.

Very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable! I called to ask some questions about steel plates, and they took the time to explain and answer all of my questions.

Wow! I needed 2 metal plates 20" x 10" real fast. We found some scrap from the scrap yard. MM was able and willing. It only cost me $190. Thanks guys.
